Super Bowl XLIII will be played at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. It is scheduled to be played on February 1, 2009. Tampa, Florida was selected for the game site on May 25, 2005, beating out three other finalists: Atlanta; Houston; and Miami. It will be the fourth Super Bowl played in Tampa, and the second in Raymond James Stadium. The stadium was also selected to host the ACC Championship Game in 2008 and 2009.
